Easter Festival – Mixed Fun Day Friday 30th March 2018

                                      Mens 7-a-side 31st March – 1st April 2018

                                       Ladies 7-a-side 31st March – 1st April 2018

Hi Folks

On behalf of Bridlington Hockey Club I would like to invite your team to take part in our annual 7-a-side hockey festival.

We are celebrating the 82nd anniversary of the men’s festival and the 37th anniversary of the ladies’ festival. We hope you will join us at a free disco/karaoke on Friday and Saturday evenings. There are other fun activities planned for Good Friday

This year again we are using the format to incorporate ' Fun Friday' where players that wish to play in a mixed day will have their players names put in a hat and teams drawn at random. This should encourage even more team spirit. There will be a prize for the winning team and a celebration disco/karaoke on Friday night.

The Men’s tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday 31st March – 1st April, entry fee £60.

The Ladies’ tournament takes place on Saturday and Sunday 31st March – 1st April, entry fee £60.

As our regulars know all our matches are played on grass pitches around the clubhouse which has changing rooms, catering and bar facilities which means there is no travelling between matches and a good social atmosphere is guaranteed.

There is a hockey shop which can supply all your hockey needs.

If your team wishes to enter please complete the enclosed entry form and send it with the entry fee (£60 men, £60 ladies), cheques made payable to Bridlington Hockey Club, to reach me by January 31st 2018. If you wish to pay be bank transfer you can pay it into the account: Bridlington Hockey Club, A/C 15349308, sort 09-01-51

This year we are hoping to offer some camping facilities on site. If you are interested in this please contact me first. Most clubs find accommodation in bed and breakfast/hotels in Bridlington (North Side). The best site to find details is www.visitbrid.co.uk

Another possible accommodation might be found on www.bessingbymews.co.uk

If you know of any other teams that would like to join with us this year please pass on this information.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours in Sport

Anne Hunter
